Great article Laura! I believe the trend toward individualism is arguably the biggest catch-all root of our societal problems, especially in America. It mainfests itself in a variety of ways, some of which you eloquently pointed out. We need to prioritize building connection and community and think 'we' instead of 'me'.

And for anyone who hasn't, I'd highly recommend listening to Michelle Obama's podcast. She's such a refreshing and uplifting contrast, especially these days!
